Hi peeps...
Is there any way to fix this? Soooo annoyed!!
Doing a backlight mod and slipped as the last corner came off and ripped the bottom screen ribbon cable in half...
Assuming I won't be able to fix it is there a way to get a replacement cable or a new screen????

Meh... after another quick look I've bust the other cable too... damn my spaz hands!!

The cheapest thing to do is usually to get another DMG and salvage the parts. You can find a fair amount that are in bad cosmetic condition, but the innards are perfect.
Dang it... might just turn it into a giant gameboy a la benheck....
Oh well... serves me right for being stupid!! Lol!

I do have a broken pocket on its way to me... so who knows!!! specially as it's cheaper than the fpga to make the giant gameboy!!

The FPGA thing makes me wonder about replacing the LCD PCB altogether... ever chased the various posts about Kitsch Bent's LCD replacement?
