That's so freaking cool. Now we just need someone to do an LSDJ set with it

wait, what?
Oh huh, that was linked directly from the Ben Heck forum but isn't directly related.
for no good reson, i was bothered by the lack of a contrast dial
Sorry not sorry. I don't like Ben heck.
If he releases this FPGA code I'll like him.
Here's a whole thing where he programs the FPGA, so I guess he released the source if you want to watch the whole video

That video is just about using an FPGA to make a VGA signal, the actual code for reading in the GameBoy's video signals was done by a friend of Ben's:

me too, but this was a pretty cool video and doesn't seem too complex to pull off...I always wanted to make one of these
to take t shows/festivals/etc. and load up some Nanoloop & LSDJ on it....wonder if you could possibly link another DMG to the GameMan to do some 2x action!!
So whos ben heck, the guy or the girl
i love how he makes a massive gameboy but doesnt understand the basic principles of zelda

"LOL, the screen on those OLD GAMEBOYS was small and blurry! Now you can FINALLY play gameboy on a BIG GOOD SCREEN!"
Did nobody mention to these guys that the Super Gameboy was a thing? Or emulators? Or projectors? Or promotional gameboy display units? Why do these "media 2.0" people have such a hard time with research?
