BennVenn sells el-cheap-o flash carts that support LSDJ for like $15 or something crazy like that.
I'd just scour eBay and pick em up one by one. I assume any gameboy will do?
wow, that's cheap: http://bennvenn.myshopify.com/collectio eap-o-cart
but I guess for the price, you can't backup your work to a computer?

I don't imagine you could just with that cart, but if you have a MegaMem cartridge and another USB cart (EMS for example) you should be able to. Bit of a faff, but you could backup the sav onto the megamem cart, then restore it onto the USB cart and backup that way.

Or you could click the other products on that very page and choose one of the USB programmers/readers...erm, once they are back in stock.

Good point. I didn't notice that. I must have mentally discarded it before as it's Windows only.

They run under python so any OS is compatible(if you know how to install / use python). There are a few graphical glitches under osx though due to tkinter.
They'll be back in stock as soon as I ship out the last few orders. Tonight hopefully!
Oh and if you are running windows 8.0 or earlier you can use the usb linker cable to transfer save files to PC.
Probably it wouldn't be an option for everyone, but for the workshop and if you don't find your 10 GB in time, maybe people could just use their smartphone, a GB emulator, and a bluetooth controller, you can find some on ebay for as low as 4 €
