This thing works so freaking perfectly I just thought I might share in case anyone else was wondering what might be a good way to transport or store their Gameboys or similar hardware.
That case in an Intec made for the Gameboy Advance SP. You can find these on eBay for under $30. They are metal clad, have a pair of locking metal clamps, and a thick handle built in.
Basically, there are these foam slats in the case that are crossed to form square slots for the SP and the like. They can be popped right out one by one, so you could pop out two for example and still have four squares and the one big rectangular space, or however you want it. The inside is padded, and the flap in the back gives way to two netted pockets where I store my USB2GB power adapters and my GB sync cable. This thing fits and secures my Gameboys perfectly, the carts are laying down in a pair of foam squares so they are good and safe too, and because of their placement, they also secure the sides of the Gameboys so they can't move around in any way when they are down in there.
I apologize if this is a goofy or pointless post to anyone, but I wanted to show this to my fellow chipmusic folk because this case if very worth buying if you want a decent way take care of your hardware, whether it's a Gameboy or whatever you can fit in there. It's nicely built.
