Very cool picture! I'm glad my build (I'm the OP on this https://bbs.nextthing.co thread) was useful (or maybe you've rebuilt it yourself, IDK)! I haven't used LittleGPTracker yet, I'm more into PicoLoop (which should be able to drive midi instruments as well because there is a midi out too)...

Hey Garvalf! - I used your image because building mine failed. You might want to consider including a mapping file with the zip because the default keybinding is a pain.. Also submit your build via git to the master project, they should put it on the website!
The only thing you should note is you need to install pulseaudio
From the terminal
sudo apt-get install pulseaudio
I would also suggest installing SSH server because it makes setup much easier
Things I need to get working personally (would love tips)
- Auto run pig (or hack the build in menu to replace sunvox)
- Auto pair my joypad
- Mount the filesystem over samba or sshfs or something.
ps do NOT upgrade the firmware to the latest 8gb image, everything seem much flakier.
update: ran some of my real songs on this thing and was pegging the cpu pretty often. Will have to investigate more!
Great stuff, thanks garvalf!

^ this +1!

fingers crossed that this is easily fixable

I'm having the same problem with my regular (non-pocket) chip, CPU seems to hang briefly at random times. Appearantly(tm) this is related to power consumption issues. So you might try to switch off wifi and dim the screen for a start.
I suspect the always running servcices like the gui are chewing resources, will look for stuff to disable!
Killing the gui on boot gave me enough headroom to run porjects without crackles!
It still stutters on heavy wifi usage, so dont upload stuff via sftp while you play your shows guys.
It not on boot, but you can also start your application (littlegptracker for example) and a terminal. Type in the terminal "killall pocket-home". If you press again the home button, it will start again.

Thats how I disabled mine! Now all my projects work well, and also the gui will put the display the sleep if you leave it running.
