While this isn't a *new* release, it's probably new to you awesome folks. Lost Tomb is my very first chipmusic album. It definitely shows that it's my first, due to the varying quality of each track. I'm gonna go ahead and say that I don't really like this album, even though I reference it all the time in my newer stuff. I mean I respect it as a first album, but beyond that it's not so great.
That isn't to say you shouldn't check it out. I mean it's a piece of my history and played a huge role in forming the rest of my music. It's got great musical value even if the synths aren't consistent. It was intended as an eastern/eygptian sort of theme, but I've heard people say it's more Asian than anything else. I'm not sure I agree with that but whatever. As long as they enjoy it I don't care what they think. (I do but I don't; hard to explain)
Anyway, I consider LToM to be a double length album. It's got good songs, bad songs, and everything in between. All in all I'd say it's worth checking out. Here's a link to a YouTube playlist with some music videos of this album. It's only a few songs. (Epilepsy warning!)
