I have a 51 minute drone song that I never released somewhere on this computer.
I never really have a limit. A song's done when it feels done whether it be a minute or an hour.
4:40 for LSDJ work
~6:30 for non-LSDJ work (except all my non-LSDJ work is garbage l0l)
I've recorded longer tracks but they were more along the lines of improvised ambient looping things or experimental band/duo pieces.
this is my thing. I don't really compose full tracks anymore, just improv

Yeah, I'm heading in that direction as well, for my 0F.digital stuff anyway. I've been trying to get the attention of minimal tech labels but it's a bit difficult when my "tracks" keep evolving..
3 minutes. Longer songs make no sense in the world i imagine
8:48 so far.
One day I'll make something at least 4 times that length, for kicks.
Limiting myself to the realm of chiptune, I've got the 9:39 "Polish Cold War Neon"

d-war-neon
Next in line would be the 6:05 "Civil Disobedience is Civil Defense"

il-defense
Basically doomy chiptune songs about large groups of people acting against violent political interests.
8:28 - 2xLSDJ
last years set I did at Little Sound Assembly was a 30 minute track I made using all nanoloop 2.3
Mine is a sort of "jam session" made with a friend of mine (gas1312). we decided to sync 2 gameboys and compose in real time. I mean that we started with an empty song and we coded wile playing! It obviously become something really endless and trippy! here it is:

I did something similar with atomsmasha last saturday, using nanoloop. It was surprisingly easy to get something going super quickly! I'd love to do some 'duo' live minimal tech performances where we build the whole set on the spot.
https://marshallart.bandcamp.com/track/marshall-art is 19:18. It's made up of distinct parts which could be their own songs (and some of them have been performed live that way) but it was conceived and written as a "suite" in five* movements. There are some common motifs running through the parts which help tie it all together.
*it was originally 6 parts, but we dropped one while we were finishing up the album. It became The Lost Art, which, if you're clever with an audio editor, can be seamlessly spliced on to the end of the suite and serves as an alternative "bad ending" to our album.
The longest chipmusic song I've made is the third song of my upcoming album Oceans of Dreams and Darkness, OoDD LVL 02 Legends From The Depths at 17 minutes and 28 seconds (17:28). It's a special song to me though, because it uses patterns and themes that I made in my first years of high school. I've never found a fit for the stuff up to now, and it represents a very rough part of my life. As such, it's a bit different from the rest of the album. But that's okay. It's okay to be different. It's also a very intense song. I probably won't listen to it again because of the memories it brings up.
This. In fact, I think this is an edited version. https://chunter.bandcamp.com/track/ordinary-day
I wrote a song that was 8:51, but since it was for an ambient project, it's quite minimalist, so I don't think that really counts. As for longest song that's more for listening for rhythm and more common musical elements other than tone and atmosphere, the longest would be 2:36.
