Hello. I've had a midiNES for about a year now and just reaized that I can use it with ableton but can't figure out HOW to set it up. I have downloaded the ableton midiNES instrument. I have an Axiom 49, 27" iMac, digi003 and a midiNES. Does anyone know how to make it all work together? What i've gathered so far is i've plugged the midiNES to the midi OUT on my axiom, then my axiom is going usb to my imac, are these initial steps correct? then how do i set things up within ableton? ANY help would greatly appreciated!! thanks!

that sounds like a good start. now go to application->utilities->audio midi setup. then find your axiom make a generic midi device and connect the two together. now if you open ableton you should be able to select the midi output of each channel it should be some something like axiom ch 1. try that if it doesn't work PM me
