Hello!
I'm just about to buy myself a new PO-32 by Teenage Engineering. Is it possible to sync it with my gameboy with LSDJ via analog using a modified cable? In case it is, is there any option to sync two gameboys connected through the link cable with the PO-32? I mean, I would love to add more complex drums to my two gameboys based tunes.

There's a thing from catskull that does what you want, but it uses the link port so you won't be able to do it with just two gameboys

also the po-32 is SUPER bassy, it might overcrowd the low end combined with lsdj
Problem is that you cant sync LSDj to two different sync methods at same time. I'm currently toying around synccross v2 which would convert LSDj sync to analog sync on the fly. Still no idea will it work and if it will when i have it done as an physical adapter.
thanks!! ok, so I see for the moment it's not possible to think about syncing two gameboys with something else. I think I will have to switch between songs with two gameboys and songs with a gameboy and the PO. It's not that bad though, it will add variety to my performances.

is it? I just thought it was a good option to pair with my gameboys... The thing is, although both of them have the prosound mod and I feed the lows with my mixer, I really feel they should have more "kick" when I'm playing live. What do you recommend to pair with a gameboy to achieve this "kick"? I also had the volca kick in mind, but I though the po-32 could be more versatile and add clearer and more complex beats.
ah, I also have a TR-8... could that be an option?

I haven't had a chance to play with the PO-32, but if it's anything like the PO-12, the kicks are *super* punchy. I guess it comes down to how you design them in microtonic (if you use that with the PO-32).
Volca kick is also great, also quite ridiculously bassy, but not as clean. It's definitely good for huge, thunderous, distorted kicks though.

Is it possible to sync LSDJ with TR8? In that case Im getting an arduinoboy right away. (Sorry Im really newbie into syncing gameboys with other gear. For a while I thought the best way to go was just to have gameboys).
Would it also be possible to sync both of my DMGs with a TR8? I have no clue!
PO-32 has a sync mode that allows it to be synced to literally anything, if you're ok with losing your panning in the process. The basic idea is to have the left channel exclusive to syncing, and fill with 8th notes. The bassier and lower and louder the better (it takes some time of tweaking, depending on how you set it one note might trigger two steps on PO-32). Then put everything else on the right channel and voila. Do do this you have to connect the lsdj to po-32's input and set it to sync mode 3 if I'm not mistaken. From what I read online it seems that every Pocket Operator has the same syncing functions, so depending on how you set up you can do that with pretty much all of them.
