Deep cloning of chains would be fantastic.
I always turn off deep cloning so please make it opt in
left/right to jump a page in sample browser
auto play sample when cursor highlights it (instead of pressing start)
what are the sample pages? I would prefer that left jumps to the top of the folder and right to the bottom
And auto play on a folder is rough when you have to scroll through 30 samples, plus having to hit start means you can preview it over a loop to hear how the sample sounds in context.

Yeah, I meant the folder browser when selecting a sample. I guess it would go for any folder browser.
Maybe both? Auto play and press start to preview?

You can hold start down while scrolling. You can hold B to fast scroll.
Midi mapping on mixer screen.
Also show battery percentage
Make possibilities to manage timing of autoswitch and turn off functionality.
Erasing of a project functionality
Step back feature if you insert something wrong.
Mark pattern like B B B on LSDJ
Some imposible features:
Add equilizer screen for instruments.
Make sd card visible when connected to PC/MAC
Add pianoroll screen and posibilities to record notes by midi or touch screen
Add additional effects on master or chanels with midi mapping)
Add Light-emitting diode and it can be blue on charging and red when battery is low, also it can blink with midi connection. Idea: Put it like in gameboy from left side of the screen.
Speach synthesizer, SAM c64 for example, Speak and spell or something like that)))
Vocoder, because you have also audio in))
Analog in out to connect game boy with out arduino, teensy or lsdjmc2

Option + Edit when project file is selected will delete it!

Thanks, this works for me!
Hello, I dream of owning an M8. Do you think there will be a second possibility to order some? If so, do you have a time estimate?
Trash80 is working on the second "production" run but it's looking like it's still months away. This is the only reason for not selling more, not because anyone doesn't want you to have one!
In the mean time, he's released a "headless" firmware which allows you to buy a Teensy 4.1 and run the M8 code on it and control everything over USB (including display output). This is a great option since you can take full advantage of M8, just not portable. Then when the production run happens, you can simply buy one and transfer your songs over! See this for more info: https://github.com/DirtyWave/M8HeadlessFirmware
Haven't got one yet but...
Some simple livecoding for notes like Orca would be amazing (looks like a perfect platform and look for it too).
A conductor mode to set the tempo when playing live would be cool too.
defo get into chance and repeats, can do lots of procedural stuff very easily
A loopsync mode for drumloops
A rootnote for sample
A stepmode for table which would not return to 0 when we change instrument.
