THE CHIP SESSIONS
Welcome to the first in a brand new night of electronic music. Held once a month The Chip Sessions will be a showcase of the best music from current greats and up and coming artists from The UK & Europe. Expect dirty beats, filthy dubs and more old video game hardware than you can shake a Wii remote at.
SYPHUS
Syphus is a demoscene/chiptune musician based in Newcastle who composes mainly on the Commodore Amiga. In recent years Syphus has played globally participating in both The Chiptune Alliance Tour and Blip Festival. He is commander in chief of heart wrenching melodies and his performances are not to be missed. Syphus announced a haitus in December last year and this show will be a welcome return for the hero of North East chip music.
FTFX
FTFX is an electro house project performed by Henry Bloomfield, hailing from Eastbourne. FTFX has been active for the best part of half a decade, with an array of successes and experience, rendering him an act not to be easily forgotten.
He has a wide range of experience with various genres and crowds, and DJs regularly around the south coast. He has been featured in many compilations and online radio events such as OHR, where he has received universal acclaim and interest.
He will be traveling to Newcastle for this event to make his debut, a special performance that should not be missed.
KYOTOSAPIAN
Kyotosapian is the chip music moniker of Joe Norman based in Newcastle, using mainly a barrage of classic 1989 Dot Matrix Gameboys and LSDj. Joe has appeared on a chip music compilation with chip music pioneers Bit Shifter, The Depreciation Guild, PDF Format and many more (which will be on sale at this gig). Joe has been invited to play with the world's best in chip musicians,
and has gone from strength to strength since March 2008. Writing chip music in the style of electro house and jazz, this will be Joe's first performance in over a year and a half.

CEREBRAL SCARS
Cerebral Scars is an electronic/cross-genre producer who uses Dot Matrix Gameboys with Nanoloop to create dirty electro/techno beats. Cerebral Scars was recently featured on the 8GB - The Sound Of Bleepstreet 2010 Mixtape alongside major artists such as cTrix, Goto80 and Je Deviens DJ En 3 Jours.

FORBIDDEN COLOUR
Forbidden Colour is Joe Lowdon, a chiptune artist from Newcastle who uses a Dot Matrix Gameboy and a Korg miniKP to create melodic music in the vein of Xinon and We Are The Future. A newcomer to playing live, this is his first all chip show.
