Jellica: Call a cab. Sometimes blowing your money on 'luxuries' like that is well worth it beyond the monetary value. If you arrive at home feeling like a king for not getting soaked and not having to ride 7 miles, it was a proper investment. If life is a bitch, fuck it.

man you are really bummed about that rain.
i learned how to gaff at work earlier this year. (gaffing is when you strap a pair of climbers to your feet and climb a telephone pole with them instead of using a ladder)
i did that in the rain yesterday just to see what it was like. it was just a freaky as doing it when its not raining.
the moral of my story is that it doesn't matter if its raining or not. climbing telephone poles with small spikes strapped to your boots is freaky rainy or not

DONT LOCK IT
im in sweden and its been raining pretty off and on the past 2 days. im out in the country and there were these toolbags who seemingly burnt their house down and then were chopping down a real pretty huge tree...in the rain. they didnt cut it at any sort of an angle and it was raining and windy, my girl and i were on a walk and i stopped and said hey lets see what these dudes end up doing here, standing far enough away...luckily it didnt fall on anybody/thing.

i got a lift some of the way from the woman who sits opposite to the park & ride, then got a bus.
thanks for my rain support.
we now have some sun, some awsome cloud formations and a rainbow.
