This auction is for an exceedingly rare full Midines setup, including NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) console with Low-Gain Audio NESmod, original NES controller, AV cable, audio cable, power supply and Nintendo power supply. All items are complete and in superb condition.
The Midines cart is version 1.1.1, which has the pitch correction, which means it will sound perfect on both PAL and NTSC NES (Nintendo Entertainment System consoles. Midines is a cartridge that enables MIDI control of the 8bit NES soundchip. Midines allows the 8bit NES to join ranks alongside other retro gear in the professional MIDI recording studio. The cart also includes NesFX, a retro graphic visualisation that is seeded by the incoming MIDI sound data. Midines features 256 samples (accessible in two keyboard banks) featuring Roland TR707, TR808, TR909, LINN, Amen and many others.
The NES included is in great condition and has a fully installed NESmod (designed by Low-Gain Electronics). This modification means that 2 mono jack sockets have been installed on the back to give a perfectly clean output for cart audio; additionally the audio output is boosted. Pulse channels are output on the left jack, triangle/wave/noise channels are output on the right jack, if only left output is used, all channels are summed to mono on this output. This circuit also provides protection to your NES's main board from reverse voltage spikes.
All other accessories are in superb condition and are fully functional.
