As far as I remember, the PLAYER source was never available to thirdparties, Paragon 5's catch on the subject was selling the player with your music to you for your prods.

Wait, is that a winamp player you linked? Was that done by a third party? If so, you could try to contact that third party to get the deets on the format.

Even if someone made a player for Winamp, a GAMEBOY play routine is nowhere to be seen as far as I can tell.
If all goes well, this guy might release it now after my request. I'll keep you posted.

My thoughts were that is someone made a third-party playback routine for winamp, that it would be a jumping point to start work on a rlayback routine written for the z80.
But I'm hoping that they decide to release it for free now!

I am huge fan of this tracker. I want make tunes on my netbook and than replay them
on real GBC/GBA (for sampling real HW, or "live" playing on chipmusic events)...
