you don't need to download anything, really, just go to chat.mibbit.com, choose Esper as the server, #chipmusic as the channel, and give yourself a nickname.
That's very possible. Do some reading up on 6502 assembly and starting looking through the code, which is commented. When I have some time we can meet on IRC and I can show you how to do it.
Look at these books here: http://www.bombjack.org/commodore/books Y_LANGUAGE
Specifically, this one: http://www.bombjack.org/commodore/books e_6502.pdf
i wanted to download this book again but the link's dead. anyways, i thought i'd post this other link for it that i found - http://megaupload.com/?d=09D5VYLI
also, those playpower tutorial videos you posted are excellent. did you ever do other ones than these - http://vimeo.com/channels/playpower ?
Nick - all of the PlayPower videos I did are here: http://work.playpower.org/w/page/241223 -Tutorials
Also, bombjack took down TONS of good books - wonder why? Copyright? Doubt it! Maybe bandwidth?
Nick - all of the PlayPower videos I did are here: http://work.playpower.org/w/page/241223 -Tutorials
the link for the NES sound video didn't work, but then i found this page - http://socialmovement.org/playpower/TUTORIALS/
i really want to learn how to make nintendo programs so these are seriously exactly what i've been looking for. thank you. for my first little project, i made a rom where each button on the controller plays a different tone. next step, make them play different tones on different channels. maybe the buttons could trigger 3 note chords?
anyways, this is excellent. do you have plans to do more?
Yeah, I should be doing more - with more emphasis on sound. Not sure when!
I'll be sure to post them.
oh this is so cool, no carrier your programming always makes me so happy, thank you.
bumping this thread to maybe spur some new developments. nick maynard and i were talking about using Vegaplay to play back vrc6 songs. has anyone modified vegaplay to successfully play back nsfs with dpcm or expansion channels?
