This is probably a ridiculous question, but does anyone know what the snap on lights front lights that I always see people using for live performances are called? I would really love to get but I have know idea what they even are. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The DMG ones? The most common ones are Nuby lights, but there's a couple other kinds too.

NeX did a superb job frontlighting my main GBC.
Highly recommend him
How much did he charge?
I don't know if he can provide the same deal, but iirc, I shipped him my GBASP, my GBC, and $15 for labor and money for shipping back.

NUBY lights are something you have to hunt ebay for, usually
and why so interested in using GBC? if you want a backlight & color screen GBA SP may be a better option
As a alternative you can always use a luminaire.
