So, im looking for a good text to speech tool for windows that can sound like a death metal vocalist growling. Anyone know of a solution? Allso just namedrop some good text to speech solutions in general!
it seems impossible to link to due to the nuts design of the site but there is a good page about speech synths at micromusic.net

Let me know if you find a good death metal speech synth. I'd prefer one that can load the vocals straight into the DAW, but It's fine if you need to put them in a separate file.
the closest thing to I can think off to death metal speech synth is a circuit bent speak and spell, granted its an alien robot death metal vocalist, but it comes with everything already in the correct files! WIN
Im getting some pretty sweet results with this one: http://www.analogx.com/contents/downloa eeware.htm
There is a slider in there called "cascade", it allows one to, what to me sounds like, feedback the formant signals back into themselves. Dont know if thats whats happening, but it sounds pretty damn gnarly! Very hissy and breathy in the right way. Allthough its hard to get language out of it in the higher settings, but thats not a particular problem for me. Found it in the link repository you posted ant1, pretty good one, thx!

it didn't!
I've achieved some very evil vocals by adding ring modulation. Maybe put a speech synth through one a those.

Yeah that site is crazy. I used to love going there, it's a little slow these days though.
Hello guys,
I made a page about Voice and speech-synthesis last year. I hope it will be helpful.

I seem to be the only person who caught this.
