Back in February godinpants created Chipaedia. management was quickly assumed by Nitro2k01 who did a lot of early work to make the site functional and laid the template for all content to be added. Now 4 months on it is well on the way to becoming THE resource to find out information about any artist or any release.
At the current count 504 albums have pages which includes the catalogues of 8bitpeoples, CalmDownKidder Records and Pause. 66 Artist pages with information about the artist as well as links to other pages relating to the artist. Numerous other pages about software and labels around the world.
The real value of Chipaedia is getting all the information into one place for the future when it becomes increasingly difficult to track down a specific track.
I am going to continue to edit the wiki with adding new albums and as much information about other subjects as I can but I don't really know anything at all, so, if you want to make a page about an artist you particular like, yourself or add your newly released album all help would be much appreciated!
