yeah an arduino uno would make more sense then. ill be ordering one soon i guess, is it pretty straightforward to program it?

ok, so, got everything constructed right as per the diagram. the arduinoboy is def. grabbing the tempo from the gameboy, but the sampler isnt picking it up. i have a feeling its because i messed the code up some how or another. i deleted every mode case except for master sync in the mode tab and (thought that i) defaulted it to go to master mode, but i probably did something completely wrong. can anybody help me out with that?

Try it with the stock code, for starters. The code is known to work, so you may as well eliminate any possible issues with your modifications first.

After that, make sure everything is on the same MIDI channel.
