This cart is classic! I have incorporated something very similar in the NESK-1. Basically controller #3 lets you do what Super synth drum does, but without the looping options. Another difference is that the NESK-1 offers 2 noise banks that you can use.

I believe the asm code was released, but the owner's site has gone to rack and ruin.
