It seems that, for no good reason, I've been booted from the sever that was hosting my website.
Could anyone recommend me a cheep webhotel or perhaps someone has a few MB left on their server..?

You haven't been booted. Something is effed up. I told Jose about it yesterday and he said he was gonna fix it. My site used to be hosted on the same server as yours but I just recently moved it because of outages like this. There are people here who will definitely help you out with some server space, I'm sure.

I actually think l-scale can assign domain names to the accounts, though I'm not sure.

Yes, I can assign domain names. If you have a domain name already, it will take about one minute to set up.
