Can it be done? And if it has, where can I find it. I really like the sounds that I get in LGPT and I think a gameboy adaptation would be really cool.

Nope, the gameboy's processor is too slow. Try LGPT on a PSP, dingoo, caanoo or gp2x for some serious handheld action.
