Not trying to be snarky or cynical (because this is awesome!), but I'm wondering how "advanced" the MIDI functionality you've added is. e.g could I use my DAW to sequence the drums and synth separately on different MIDI channels, or is this just for playing the synth with a controller keyboard?
Wicked mod either way, just curious!

In short: You can sequence notes and drums, sync it via MIDI and control all parameters on the right side of the panel, except for the mix levels.
For a demonstration, check out the MIDI in video in that post, in particular 1:45 and forward for a proof of concept of what you can do over MIDI.

you can control the synth via midi channel 1.
the drums can be controlled via channel 10.

Is it possible to change the synth midi channel to something else than 1? Drum decay controls? Does it have midi in / out and works as thru also?

hey, the midi channels stay the same and this unit only has midi in. you need to do a fairly simple mod to get decay controls and drum outs.
