I just found a casio pt-10 that had not been used for many years. I put in new batteries, but get no power. Any suggestion?

Get two alligator clamps, attach one to the 'positive' contact and one to the 'negative'.
Start poking around in there until something lights up.

could be some charge left in one of the capacitors... short out each one but check every time so if it happens again, you will know where to put the reset button.
