@_@ so expensive!
What do you expect to pay for fine computer material from the 80s and from japan? xD
This is only fair. An F-1AF for 200 is a fair price. I paid 90 for mine but that was like 9 years ago.
The Turbo Rs have stayed in the same price range though, they always costed about this much.
What do you think is the cheapest/easiest to obtain MSX out there?
What Boomlinde said is correct. Get a japanese MSX.
BRazilian MSXs are NTSC (Brazil uses both PAL-M and NTSC, also both 110V and 220V)Look, this is almost the one I have, it's a cool machine (one of my favourite-looking MSXes):

Does that first one have the same specs as the one I mentioned? With shipping its still a little pricey, but hey nothings free!
The FS-A1F has 128KB of VRAM but 64KB of RAM. The Phillips has 128KB of RAM and VRAM.
I don't know why it was built like that, the standard is more or less 128KB of RAM. Some shit might not work with only 64KB. I never found a problem though but then again I haven't used mine that much.
ADVANTAGE OF THE FS-A1F: RGB output, it seems! You could connect it to any RGB monitor and get a crisp image.

Sounds great! I plan on uprgrading the RAM anyways and the 7mhz upgrade. Love the look and form factor of this! Plus it has the music module built in! Going to try and pick this up soon! Thanks man!
nah, fm pac built in. not the music module. That's only a separate cart.
bear in mind that the fm pac only has 1 custom voice.
The 7mhz upgrade imo is unnecessary. I always did all music with
the standard ones, works fine realy.
Wait, what has FM PAC or MUSIc MODULE built in? The FS-A1F doesn't. Even less the FS-A1. So don't buy thinking they do.
