Ok, so.
I've always played on a pair of unmodified DMGs. Last night however, I was playing a show at Derailed ( a local club). I mentioned to a guy that I was selling shirts to help raise cash for backlights. Turns out he had just won some money at the casino, and bought ALL my shirts. and began to throw them around the bar. He then tossed me an extra $50 once my set was finished. (Generous guy, really craziness)

BACK TO MY POINT.
I know I want backlighting, and prosound on both dmgs.
But what other mods out there are really worth it? I have a serious budget for it right now, so I figure I may as well go all out while I can right?

Those are the only really useful mods. You can be fancy and get some kind of nex internal mod, but id save the rest for some outboard processing or something cool to lug your stuff around in, or even MOAR MERCH.

I really should grab up some more merch...
Another mod question. Since I'm already playing with 1/8" jacks, should I just go with 1/8" prosound mod? is there benefit to going with 1/4"?

Cool deal. Thank you very much guys!

The benefit to 1/4" is just durability. But most say it's not worth the extra effort to relocate the power regulator.

It does the same thing as a 1/8", but I feel like 1/4" locks in tighter.  People above me are right in saying that prosound and backlights are the most useful.  The others are just fancy stuff.  If you have the money and want something else that's useful, pick up an arduinoboy.

The only other mod I could even think of would be a half or variable clock mod for some different octave ranges. If you don't really need or want them then it's a bit worthless.

1/4" is the best IMO. Strongest and adapters are the easiest to come by at most general shops.

Ive found 1/8th to 1/4 cables and adapters at any radio shack/pro audio store. I have way too many of them.

Yeah I already step up from 1/8" to 1/4" for everything as it is, so I figure I'll stick with 1/8" this time around.
You guys want to see them when they're done?
