From somebody who used a soldering iron for the first time today (I changed my already prosounded DMG from post-pot to pre-pot) I have to tell you to just go for it, get a cheap iron and try, it's way easier than it looks.

I'm curious, is this only the Altane or would my Heebie-GBs also be included?
Since I got an email to check my address on both products and the shipping confirmation doesn't say anything about it I'm not sure.
Either way I'm stoked to finally be able to uninstall that Windows XP virtual machine that's been sitting on my hard drive pretty much collecting dust.

I got a cheap second hand Game Gear when I was a kid, not every family can afford GBs...
For the flashcart: If you really just want to get started you should probably get LSDj and work on BGB, that way it stays cheap and you can get a feel of the tracker before putting too much money into it.

You can connect a DMG to an AGB with an adapter, so if you have a PS/2 to DMG cable I don't see a reason why it wouldn't work with it too.
What I have is a MGB-004, made for the Pocket but compatible with CGB.
