oh, and if you guys ( not you deerpresident, your fine ) think i'm a niave, gullible, impatient troll, then honestly, why do you even care? : /
if you're going to tell me what i can't do, then why are you bothering me? i came on the forum for help, not criticism. So please, next time a noob like me shows up, please try to help, not hinder, that person : )

IM NOT A TROLL im a 17 year old fan of chipmusic, and i was desparate for help, and i got it ; )
if you meant 'there is nothing you can do to plug your guitar directly into the NES - soundchip' than ya, probably not.
still thanks guys!! and wow, this thread IS huge! XD good thing though, lots of advice, and plenty of criticism : )
(P.S. my usual username on games, other forums, etc. is: AtlasTanker )

Re: NES audio mods:EXPERTS WANTED (68 replies, posted in Nintendo Consoles)
whoa 0.0 you like 8 bit super hero ; ) thanks!!!! you know what's funny though? i bought my NES at a place in our local mall that sells old, and sometimes non-working or cruddy handhelds, consoles, and games. Amazingly i found one in almost pristine condition!! after i did my mods i've done on it, it still runs (and plays) incredibly well : D (P.S. these guys are hobknockers XD )
also, you DO know that you would just be stufing an 8 bit pedal inside an nes case? as it's not wired to the soundchip itsself? : /

uggggh fine alpine, you can have your OP XD you brits are sure are stubborn, but then again, great britain has a few chiptune artists over there, so i don't blame you for your opinion(it's a well educated one because of all the chiptune artists).
And haha no i'm not ary in disguise, i actually made an attempt to email them, but my emai probably ended up in the junk
folder XD i wish i could talk to them about it! that would be awesome : ) but anyhoo, thanks guys!! i think my work is done here! i finally have my solution!

Re: NES audio mods:EXPERTS WANTED (68 replies, posted in Nintendo Consoles)
*facepalm* ya, sorry if i'm not listening to your advice guys XD it's just that i want to explain in detail what i have, what i want, and what i might need. And the 'no audio in' thing is simply a misunderstanding, i KNOW that there IS NO AUDIO IN, i was wondering HOW to MAKE AN AUDIO IN, and like i kept saying, anamanaguchi did it, they made all 5 channels available to them, and the development carts were for backing tracks.
but ya, i'll probably go MIDI, i'm one of those people that like things the easy way most of the time : ) that 'soniktech' thingy that dsv101 mentioned is what i'll end up with : J. Thanks guys for all the suggestions! i started this thread out of desperation, thinking in my mind, 'there just has to be a way to play chiptunes on my guitar! there just has to!!' : )
P.S. btw, nice meme jazzmarazz XD

(any other non-sarcastic, or non-critical solutions are most welcome ; ) )

Re: NES audio mods:EXPERTS WANTED (68 replies, posted in Nintendo Consoles)
one: i know people have been messing around with me, mainly because i haven't gotten a straight answer!, and look Alpine, i know i can't just PLUG A GUITAR INTO AN NES i got that already, i'm asking people if they know what to do to MODIFY an NES with guitar jacks soldered onto specific places on the board, so then i can plug my guitar into one of the input jacks. : ) btw, thanks for your advice guys, this really helps, gives me some options, you know? hmmm, i saw that 'soniktech' thing with the MIDI cable sticking out of it, and I think that's what i'm going to do : )

Re: NES audio mods:EXPERTS WANTED (68 replies, posted in Nintendo Consoles)
haha nice, utah: 'semi intelligent' and of course i did a good job on install, i spent like 5 hours searching up how to do it ; )
and since i don't really know how to explain it otherwise, anamanaguchi basically were able to plug their instruments into the NES, and that into the amp. You have been had indeed fudgers XD lol, seriously though, which capacitor? please, i need to know o.o this thread would be non- existent if i already knew that : /
