I have managed to fix the problem by going to my sound options. In there I have found a limiter that is standard activated. Never looked there.. But I have turned it off and man it works! Even my games that I play now have better sound! Thanks for the input.

This is what it looks like. This whole pattern is the GAB sample with a high hat under it. As you can see, there are intervals where almost no sound is produced. However, this area sounds EXACTLY the same in lsdj as the big ones you see on the picture as well. What can I do, is my soundcard getting tired quickly?

Please help!

Hey guys, so I tried to record a song from my gb to audacity with a cable to my laptop input. Everything starts perfectly, but when the bass comes in it all becomes silent or very low volume. Is this my soundcard or my recording volume or something completely different? Has anyone encountered the same problem?

A backlight is already installed, can I also put the LEDs on the same spot?

Since I have ordered transparent buttons for my DMG I want to let them shine with the addition of SMD LED's. I haven't seen any tutorials on this, so if someone can help me that would be appreciated.

Other questions:
Do I need any resistors in front of those LED's? And from which point on the circuit board do I take my power?

Apparently there is a new pedal on the market: the Harmonic Decoder by Sunsine Audio. It is a guitar pedal with a glitchy sound.

Check it out and let me hear what you think! --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uTz51UQgEks

That's awesome btw

Yeah used an hardwire metal distortion pedal and a delay pedal already and think it sounds pretty cool. I want to use those pedals live to actually perform something instead of pressing just start. Thought a bass booster would be perfect for breakdowns and massive bassdrops (if possible with LSDJ)

I really like these deep stories you guys have, keep em coming! smile

Ok thanks guess I'll let the EQ in the mixer do the LOW boost.

No this is a serious question..

What are your thoughts about adding a bass booster pedal to get some nice EDM vibe? I think I want to buy this pedal but I want to know: will it work?

EHX Mole Bass Booster

Specs:
- Up to 20 dB of LOW frequency added
- Center frequency of 400 Hz to 200 Hz at max. volume
- True bypass

Running a gameboy through some guitar pedals like metal distortion and delay. Sound was pretty wicked

So guys, I recently began making songs but the problem is that I have no inspiration so far... Therefore I have 2 questions for you:

1. Where do get your inspiration from and how do you turn that into an actual song?
2. Do feelings (for example anger) actually help during this process of creating songs?

I'm looking for a way to get started, hope you guys can help me! smile
