Ha! It was batteries. Unreal.
I installed the Kitsch-Bent frontlight to my GBC, using the advanced method with the LOCA.
It looks fantastic and boots up, HOWEVER, when I'm trying to play Pokemon Blue with the frontlight, it boots, sound works, and the game boots, but when it gets to a certain part if you let the intro play through (right before the title screen) it dies. Similarly, if you press start after the Gamefreaks splash animation, you get a similar result.
Anyone have any idea what is going on or a way to remedy this?
Notes: I did not use a resistor, I used solder w/ flux. I'll try to upload a video to Youtube tonight.
