Yes. Very same here.

I encountered maxymizer, so I know the feeling.

That's exactly why I came back to my senses and switched it to the MusicMon. smile smile smile

Good luck!

Hmmmmm, do I have Your e'mail address?

Digi recording from ZX-UNO:

Really, I would think it comes from the British Spectrum from 80s. Extremely well-done implementation.

Maaaaan, seems like the AY implementation is pretty damn amazing.

It's 1:1 recording (I even left the shit-noise at the start & the end to let You know what You will have to noise-gate, just in case).
Very dynamic, hard sound. Cool.

OK, if You wanna compare the recordings, pls let me know, I'd put the SNA in some place.

Garvalf:

Aha, OK - I'll get back to You. Weekend, I presume.

> Is it using the beeper or the AY soundchip for outputing the music?
----------------------
You can switch it on the SampleTracker. I use AY but people use BEEPER (1-bit) or Covox (8-bit, Amiga quality, but still 3 channels on the SampleTracker, sadly I don't know whether ZX-UNO has Covox implemented. Will check it out too).

Nanode:

Mainly it produces its own sounds (synthetic music). The soundchip is the same what was in Amstrad/Schneider, Atari ST, MSX.

> ZX is sample based?
------------------
It can play 3 channels of samples but it's rather for very lo-fi musicians (it's only 4-bit quality).
Sounds like this -

Regardssssssssss.

...and I thought Speccy2010 was a small clone. smile
But this one is simply TINY. smile
Maybe I'll make some test AY / YM recordings from it, if I have a chance.

Well, there IS a number of software pieces, to use. smile http://zxtrackers.republika.pl/

Hehe, it was not bad. smile
Greetzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

Hmmm, maybe the second batch will be then, it's possible.

Hi,
I wouldn't say so - the final price was 73 EUR.
I took the ZX from here: http://www.worldofspectrum.org/forums/d … side-spain

Ha, it came today - a new ZX Spectrum clone called ZX-UNO, a Spanish machine.

Very tiny, in shape of the Raspberry Pi 1 (but still the cases/boxes should be cut-off in some places), supposedly has TurboSound (two AY chips sound) - I will be testing it in weekend, heh...

And who will tell me NOW in the aeroplane that my concert equipment is TOO HEAVY! wink

Hi,

there was my tiny chiptune concert in Krakow, 20 May 2016, within the Festival of Culture and Media "Polikultura" organized by Jagiellonian University.

A fragment on video: https://youtu.be/vLLihIwdC7o

The photos: http://yerzmyey.i-demo.pl/RetroSpectrum … Krakow.zip

My setup this time was:

For sequences
- Speccy 2010
- Raspberry Pi 2

For the main part / leading instruments
- Novation Mininova
- Yamaha PSS-51

For special effects
- Korg Monotron Delay
- Casio SA-47

Plus the usual additional stuff like the Behringer mixer and the Zoom FX module.

THE SNAKES' NEST wink

Yes, that is a way.

Or You can buy a new Spectrum from here
http://www.sellmyretro.com/offer/detail … oard-10849
At least it works with modern keyboards and with VGA. All the rest is the same anyway.
I like it, I admit.

Byez.

Garvalf: ah yes, but seems like they stopped producing the MrX and ZXpandAY for ZX81. Arrrgh.

Hi,

You will have to get an AY interface for the ZX81 (and the ZXpand drive possibly).

Thanks a lot. Atari needed more attention, heheh, so I decided to collect some stuff. wink
Wanted to add one more TT song - but the computer has died meanwhile. wink Ah well...
