Hey, tried to make a short glitch hop tune, any feedback is welcome. The fake gameboy sound is produced by LMMS's freeboy plugin (I'm currently waiting for a cartride so will use legit 8-bit sounds in the future )

Thanks a lot! I wouldn't say I'm good at soldering, only done some stuff with an arduino, where I made a short circuit by mistake. xD
I won't game on it, and it's a regular gameboy i talk about (SP is quite expensive I've seen), so I guess GBC is the way to go then.
May I also ask if there is any difference in sound in DMG and pocket?
EDIT: Nvm my last question, checked out the comparison regarding the pocket.

If my only option is between a color and advance, which should I get?
I've read here http://www.herbertweixelbaum.com/comparison.htm and here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compariso e_consoles
It seems that GBA is better than GBC in that comparison, but GBA is 32bit and GBC is 8bit? Or does the GBA have a 8bit for the sounds, I don't quite understand the wikipage. How difficult is it to mod the GBC with "prosound", and would it sound better?

I like these, metalcore though:

Re: Chiptune will disappear someday? (84 replies, posted in General Discussion)
I grew up in the PS2/Gamecube era, and if you ask someone in my age what chiptune is a large majority knows about it even though few are fans of it. Now, if you ask a generation AFTER mine, the ones born in the 2000, then actually more people are into chiptune, why? Because they grew up with indie games taking inspiration from old school games.

Re: Cheap GB/GBC flash cartridge? (5 replies, posted in Trading Post)
I actually didn't play GB when I was little, my first console was GameCube then Nintendo DS.
EDIT: Nick Walrus you're right, good point.
But may I ask, is around $50 a decent price, is it cheap or too much?

Hi, I would like to get started with LSDJ.
Cheapest cartridge I have found is for $40 including shipping, most expensive I've found is $90.
Anyone know somewhere to buy cheaper ones? Maybe I'm just a cheap person, but I thought it would be more expensive to get the GB itself and not a little flash card for it.
