A mi me late chipcultura y micromusica. Estoy de acuerdo con Analog que el nombre debe reflejar algo simple. Aparte de los cliches, debemos tomar en cuenta que el nombre sitio debe ser facil de recordar y decir.

I learned how to draw when I was little by tracing dragon ball activity books. After a while I could draw them on my own. After another while I could draw my own ideas...

"Good artists borrow, great artists steal" - Picasso

I think its important to be familiar with whats out there. I think its fine to learn as much as you can from the pros, as long as you don't claim any of the work as your own.

For some, its better to tinker on their own through trial and error, and some can't stand to do anything without knowing what they're doing, so naturally, one has to emulate different styles to find their own.

There will always be purists who will chastise you for "copying" peoples work. Screw them and just learn however you want to learn and try to be legit and don't plagiarize. Simple.

if I could go back I would reshoot the nes photos because the whole point is the game boy limited edition is a gameboy with the nes look, so I wanted it in there. All on all good feedback, thanks!

Holy crap man. Sickest DMG paint jobs I've ever seen. Slick airbrush skills.

Thanks for the kind words everyone.
@capcomposer -  It was supposed to be 30 seconds as part of the assignment. It had to be an ad as well so I'm glad you thought it would make a good commercial

@akira8GB - I shot all the photos at different times and different cameras so there's definitely some inconsistency. Crappy casio for the gamepad shot, nikon d80 for the rest. smile Good eye! I did have fun with Motion Graphics, so much in fact that I switched degrees from graphic design into full blown computer animation. More to come.

@arottenbit - I actually added the screens in post. There's no way the screen will look that sharp in pictures. wink

@tehforsterer - Thanks! I want to elaborate on my Dream More piece and polish up the animation, I ran out of time with the project and it came out a bit sloppy. Lucid dreaming is awesome! I haven't had one since I dreamed I was Iron Man's son with a mini suit and all when I was about 8...So stoked on the movies!

Dear Mr. Nullsleep

I've been patiently waiting to see you live since I found your site on stumble in 2004.

After being trapped in Florida for so many years, I couldn't be happier that I live in Austin where I get to experience some chip shows.

So beyond stoked. See ya soon!
