Thanks for checking out the video. I'm keen to flesh out that track.

Are you perhaps struggling with programming interesting & emotive patterns? Drum tracks require a conscious effort to produce. I struggle with this myself. I've had mixed success with critically listening to mainstream music and simply trying to copycat the exact same patterns, fills, etc. After I've laid down the drums, I can start to jam on top.

If you use a DAW consider creating a primary template for your next album project. When creativity strikes, you'll have your most commonly used instruments, plugins & effects all pre-loaded and ready to go. It's a good exercise in housekeeping that has the added result of creating a consistent underlying sound (which the listener may associate with your style).

You could build upon the same template throughout your music making career or start a new template for each major project.

G'day. I'm Tommy Fullerton from Brisbane, Australia. I'm in the final weeks of my two year Audio Production degree. For my creative project, I'm producing a minimum 8 track album titled "Bullet Hell: EX". It is my intent to compose, collaborate and comission original music for the album and it is my hope to find some additional producers here on chipmusic.org

I have created a short video which illustrates the theme of the project.

If you're willing to volunteer time to create some original music, or have suitable existing music you'd be willing to donate to this non-commercial project. I can promise professional-level mastering & game industry exposure in return. It is my intention to create additional projects in the future that will offer paid commissions.

Please let me know if you're interested!
