I don't believe you can do this exactly, but close. You should try midigb. You can also use some online software to convert guitar to midi, or there are a few Sonuus products that do as well. Check out Aethernaut. They use violin to midi.

I'd like to release a Gameboy album on cartridge. I'd like to compile the .nsf files into a menu. Is there anything similar to Vegaplay for gameboy?

Ugh this guy ^

This looks great. I'm glad you're making advancements on this because it's a great tool.

That's where I got mine before I realized how buggy and unusable it was.

Currently deciding whether or not to add guitar to my first LSDJ release. Also working on a John Carpenter style retrowave release for Sega Genesis. Otherwise just practicing in my punk bands and constantly searching for tacos.

A lot of people use chords in their songs using each note of the chord per channel. The amount of channels you have to work with depends on what console you're using.

The only real way to get a Midines is through EBay. And for around $200 it seems pricey for what it does. Chip maestro has given me a lot of issues in terms of pitch and tracking but still works okay with a few of my controllers.

So I've been writing some lsdj tracks for my first release, and I've been looking for ways so be energetic and original with it. Well... I literally just played my guitar through an NES!

I hooked up the Sonuus G2M to Chip Maestro (No hate. I bought it before reading reviews or hearing about MIDINES). I played for a while, tried all the different settings and pulse waves, and just jammed. I was going to shoot a video, but my basement started flooding as it always does, so looks like I'll be saving that for next week.

Just wanted to tell someone. Anyone else heard of setups like this?

I just noticed that a new version of LSDJ got uploaded the other night. I thought it might be of interest to some of you fine folks.

Looks like some minor updates to the R command. Might be worth checking out!
