the latest version is 0.949. It has lotsa new features and fixes. Here is a recent song:

There was a bug in 0.937 when you had NUM LOCK or CAPS LOCK enabled but its fixed.

Thanks. Release is aimed to autumn. Initially there will be a Windows version and a web version.

Hi,

i went 22 years back for my Pretracker song called "Deeper Gates of Doh". Always sounded a bit unfinished.
I remade and extended it a bit in Comeback Tracker.

You can export the complete track into a WAV.
You can also save your song and play it with the replayer source code in your demos, intros or indie games.

As Comeback Tracker creates all its instruments in realtime there is no other export meaningful
as no other software could handle them.

Of course the real work was to mimic the original sample based instruments with chipsounds, but that was quite fun.
I also tried to emulate the glitchy loop points of the protracker samples as they added a lot of character to the original song.

Thanks for your kind words. The instrument editor is on first sight similar to AHX but has a lot more going on inside. I will soon post new music where i will show it.
