excellent! i knew there would be some advice from some folks on here.

thanks very much!

@nitro i'm not totally certain that the mail is rubbish... but it is pretty bad. and things often go missing, or taxes are added or invented to recieve crumpled packages that have been ill-treated.

all word on the street says no, but my personal experience is limited... but i'm too poor to order things and have them vanish inexplicably!

Hi,

Been a while since i've been a part of these communities - I was a member of 8bc until whenever it went under.

Long story short, I've recently picked up the gameboy again and have been putting some sounds together. Found a sync device made for me little-scale many years ago - still works perfectly!

In order to be gig-ready I'd really like to add back lights to my DMGs, but... I live in Viet Nam. Which means ordering anything through the post is basically impossible.

I seem to recall that early backlight mods didn't use the excellent designs being shipped about now but instead relied on simpler LEDs that were readily available.

As I live in Viet Nam I can buy basic components easily and cheaply, but more complex stuff isn't available and vanishes in the post.

I can't seem to find any info or examples of simpler back lights installs...

Can anyone help?

Thanks smile
