I just received my LSDJ cart from the Blip '09 a couple of weeks ago, and I've been having issues of it failing to hold saves. I can't seem to spot what I'm doing that's making the cartridge lose saves and instruments, but it's frustrating to put 5 or 6 hours into a song and have it disappear a few days later.

I've been using it on a DMG. I have left it in the DMG basically since I received it, could that be the problem? I didn't think that the DMG's caused battery issues like Pockets and Colors.

Any help would be great guys, I hope it's something I'm doing wrong, and not the battery, though soldering isn't a problem.

I'm playing Halo 2 Mythic and the L4D's, but I do own GOW2 and my roommate has MW2.

I'm adding all of you right now.

there was a yannis xenakis exhibition in athens recently...

Is he pretty well known in Greece? In America I feel like he's really only known in Academia.

Haha, you have to understand, he was a serialist composer, most of his pieces are made based on mathematics used in architecture. Part of the fun of Xenakis is trying to comprehend what's going on. It's pretty deep in the modern experimental side of things. The album I have is Electronic Music by Iannis Xenakis but he also wrote many other things, maybe check out Rebonds A and Rebonds B, they're multiple percussion pieces with rhythmic motifs and time manipulation.

Hey guys, a friend of mine posted a link on his blog talking about how The Drawing Center in NYC is pairing up with the Electronic Music Foundation and they're having an exhibition on Iannis Xenakis, an amazing modern electronic composer who passed away in 2001. I thought there might be some of you who're interested in it so here's the link.

About likes/favourites/thumbs etc, I agree with some that it is a great tool for bookmarking (that's mostly the way I've been using it on 8bc, for instance). However, I think it should be mandatory to add a comment in order to add a thumb/like/bookmark. It prevents laziness and encourages constructive criticism.

I like your idea of adding a comment to thumb, but there should be a word limit, so that people have to give you an actual comment, not just "good" "first" "sucks" "nice" I could see that becoming a problem if you made people comment before they could give it a thumb/like/arrow/opinion

Thretris, do you have a tut written up on your painting process, or would you be able to do one on your next paint job? It'd be nice to see what steps you take to do such great work.

I don't know actually, I thought it had changed, but I think it just shows a different one when you haven't read something maybe? Or for different pages? There are two I've seen so far.
