Yes, do this.

I was thinking about getting an arturia beat step for my arguing boy (auto correct changed arduino boy and I liked it's spelling better) and sprite mods gba cable. I think that'd make it the best drum machine.

Thanks Jellica. From the songs I listened to it sounds like I really like C64 bass sounds.

RJL I was thinking of going with cynthcart,  i may hold out and go for a kerberos cart with cynthcart. I haven't looked into retroskoi+ yet. If I can get it on a floppy real cheap it'll be what I try first. smile

Thanks guys I knew I was overlooking something.  Sid2sid is enough of a reason to keep them. Cynthcart for $30 looks awesome. I'll Google flashcards also.

Is there a good c64 music site? Service manual download?

Vellain thanks for the advice on being more specific. When I go to clean/repair them it'll be awesome advice.

I bought 3 C 64 for $26. Two seem to have problems with showing up on the tv. As a newb to this should I keep them and fix them, or trade cheaply to a local.

Also any advice on programs that are cheap and fun for the "good" one?

Thanks for any advice.

For some reason I wanna say something like preacher, or parson. Not reverend though.

I read through this whole thing not knowing what had happened. I still don't know exactly, but from what I have figured out I know you got royally messed over. I hope things get better for you.

I would also love a p about alt country. I haven't delved too deeply, lucero is about it really. Thanks.

How much for the mega memory cart?

uXe, you da man. Now to start acquiring parts and pestering yogi to see if he ever made a teensy NES version. Also the nunchuck is a great touch as most NES controllers are uncomfortable.

I'd love to have an mctrl, but I value my marriage so a sub $50 option has to be explored. Moral of the story is marriage is awesome until you want stuff. sad

I haven't investigated pulsar yet, but theoretically if you started 2 nes pulsar songs at the same time would there be any "wander?"

I'm debating on trying to mod a controller for dual start.

Also I tried to Google and failed. I also love all of you if that helps get me info.

I'll probably be going with an Electribe, either the ES-1 or the EA-mkii. Any advice on synchronizing either of these with lsdj? Am I going to need an Arduinoboy as well? I don't know much about midi...

Not an expert, but I am 95% sure you'd need an arduinoboy. Why not try a used monotribe, or even better a volca of your preference. With the mono/volca you could use panning to make a click track. With the Volca you could eventually use an aboy so you could use both sides.

A great thing about going mono is you can then use cheap guitar pedals and not worry about the lost stereo.

Forgot about the spritemods GBA midi chord.

As always IMHO and YMMV.

I am so stoked on this.

I didn't even think about Lanhuck's. Sweet little stage and viewing area though.

It's a good place to sit, drink and watch. I wish 1123 was still around.

I know a few people that could maybe get more chip into Lanhuck's. They allow a lot of different things at punkrock night. Of course everyone I know is into psychobilly.

You can get the Source audio wah with a wired hot hand for next to nothing. Be warned trying to use it with my bass guitar didn't work so well, so I assume your bass lines with chip stuff wouldn't work either. I need to try it out with my arduinoboy before I'd say it's the awesome. Here's a vid.

May I suggest if going mono anyway to use pedals, try a pissbox?
