i used to use solid 70, not really sure why, guess the 0 stands out

now i just double tap A because I only ever need empty slots for the end of my song

Hey L-tron, here are some cool chip house/trance songs where limits are pushed to the limits... I think you will like them!! I know they're not gameboy songs but I hope you will find them interesting in the same way. They are both .nsf files. So that is NES music.

Chibi-Tech ~ Love is insecurable))) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8C8vGRlxZM

Xaimus ~ Dendrite))) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8PFNQBU03A

Personally, NES music is one of my favourite things for chips. There can be so much to it. Little known fact is that it is actually capable of 25 channels. I love hearing what people can come up with. Famicompo is absolutely great for this.

ot: awh poirot, i oddly used to love that when i was younger. the title is great.

damn this would of been a reason to finally buy a NES

the video demo looks great but it is a shame to hear about what is said above ~ on this page. sad

oh well

EDIT: IMPORTANT: MAYBE? i noticed arfink uploaded a video to youtube 6 days ago, maybe trry to get in touch there

Awh, this isn't a puzzle or FPS game BUT I know that it will definitely hook you and pass your time.

Play Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst. It's free on PC. Just google "PSO:BB SCHTHACK".

be really into it yourself, make sure you know it is good, show your passion, pour yourself into this

make it something more than just the music, make it a piece, the image the sound, your bandcamp layout, your aura

honestly, promotion isn't going to work if you have no one to promote it to in the first place. make yourself an audience before you release something like this. (idk maybe you do have an audience, maybe you dont even care)

something else to note would be that 8bc doesn't exist anymore. the likes system on there made it easy for people to become known (even if they shouldn't have been) no offence chipmusic.org but it's really not so much a focus on here, you only listen to the artists you have heard before. i guess what i am trying to say is that, it will be hard to become known w/o 8bc. no one is going to catch you on the face of this website. you have no display of popularity.

oh and post it on reddit

I think a reason people may stop using computers will be because the more powerful modern day machines can often emulate the old ones.

For this reason I probably wont be using old consoles in 2020/2030.

What kind of samples do you look for in your music? What qualities do you like to find in a sample? What really inspires you? Acapellas? Instrumental? No drums? Why?

How do you like to mix samples? Things to look out for in blending the sample with added instrumentation (or another sample)? EQ/compression strategies?

I would say that all of this depends on what kind of song you're writing. It would be silly to have a set answer to all of these questions in my opinion. You do it differently every time.

hi !!!!

that video cracked me up it was hilarious also you commented on my songs sometimes on 8bc (i think)
