Are you seriously calling me a big idiot? I was only curious, why do people like you get away with stuff like this?? I just ran a test in FL studio to check and the waveform of the drums in the song are definitely not C64, you obviously know nothing about chiptune so stop posting your stupid dance music here you moron.

Most of my favourite Radix songs are 1 - 2 minutes long. Here you go.

Also whilst not directly related, a lot of good VGM is just loops of short songs.

I believe you will need an older version of FamiTracker, try going from FT Ver. 0.2.0 upwards.
This is what you have to do for WIN98 so I assume it's the same for WINME.

I didn't say not important at all, just less important for the purpose of getting. Firat time feedback.
What's more important, technique or sound quality?
It's not a case of what's more important, it's a case of helping this person out and that's all I was trying to do. You came back at me with a smug comment. As if you were trying to draw out my point. I just don't understand why you would do that.
- Recording with a gameboy will help your sound quality significantly and you should probably do that before taking any advice on sound design.

Je Mappelle wrote:yes definitely do that, it will sound miles better. i'm surprised no one latched onto that
Honestly, less important then seeing what he can do.
WHAT, are you kidding me with this comment right now? Why the hell would you waste your time writing that? Are you trying to prove me wrong?
Of course I know seeing what he can do is important, but that certainly doesn't write off recording quality as non-important. Specially when there are people commenting on how the kick sounds bad...

Re: My first chiptune... (90 replies, posted in Constructive Criticism)
well the recording was emulated to be honest. I wrote the song on an emulator first then recorded it directly from my comp. maybe I should record it straight from the DMG then re-post?
yes definitely do that, it will sound miles better. i'm surprised no one latched onto that
