Hi!

I wanted to ask for help the chiptune experts of the community.

I am currently designing a neuroscience research project in order to study the effects of music on visual perception in VR. I have the idea of using chiptines as my audio stimuli, since this would make the music more "quantifiable" - no vocals, no instruments per se, good for statistics.

In the original research, on which I am basing my project, the researchers used three types of music: relaxing (yoga-style music), neutral (generic pop with vocals) and stressful (techno). The categorization was made by the researchers themselves.

For my experiment I decided I would let a group of subjects to categorize the music out of a big sample pool, which I am assembling now. I had no trouble finding the "neutral" and "stressful" tracks, but I am a bit stuck with the relaxing ones - something along the lines of 60 bpm, few harmonics, slow tempo, simple rhythms (I am no musical expert by any means, however).

This is the closest to what I am looking for, that I was able to find so far: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0njLoYAHvhI

I would really appreciate any links, artist names, suggestions or tips!
