I don't care if you don't think its art, give it some album art.

YOU LIED IT TOTALLY HAS ALBUM ART.

My OCD was playing up for a minute there.

This is good.

The midsection of Bambiraptor is great. You know the part I'm talking about.

I listened to some of it, and I liked the idea of combining all the different styles, but I think you should cut back on the quantity of songs. It needs to be more focused. Some of the songs feel like sketches of greater ideas, but they haven't been finished. Maybe for the next one (not the Bedtime one, seems you already have ideas for that) try a 5 or 6 song EP combining a lot of the ideas you used here - the classical piano melody, what appears to be field samples, chiptune percussion, etc

I like the piano composition in the first song, but it sounds too digital for its own good. Maybe try and find a more natural piano sound?

There doesn't seem to be a lot of build in some of the songs, like Of Wind and Sky - they're just kind of floating through sound for three minutes. Maybe try and form some kind of song template, with climax and pay-off, for some of these tracks that just drift.

I like the use of a lot of different instruments.

I hope my criticism has been helpful. Look forward to more things.

Thanks guys.

I liked that David Sugar and Ears track. And, uh, I may have gone and downloaded that Coca Brovaz track.

Steady C wasn't very good IMO.

My curiosity has overwhelmed me so here's a new thread.

Are there many musicians / groups who combine chip music and rapping? I can't think of many off the top of my head, and I've heard a couple of raps on chip songs here and there, but nothing overly spectacular.

So... what/who am I missing? Is there much out there? I know shit all.

Post yr links etc

Thanks.

Mega Washington, whenever I read your name I think of Megan Washington. Now that I see you are from Hobart this seems intentional.

It's definitely intentional. MEGA WASH IS GO etc.

Do a chip remix of the early originals, Dot.AY, then 'leak' them as new material.

In general, I don't think heckling is really a bad thing. It can be constructive, and fun for the audience (sometimes the perfomer too)! Heckling is great if its done properly.

This isn't a comment on this particular incident, for the record.

This is... really good! Well done. Really dense, but never overbearingly so.

Not too hot on the art, though I suppose it is better than a lot of other releases. It's mostly just the written title that I don't like.

I dunno, "Frens" is pretty clean.

But that defeats the purpose of going onto the show to be punk and loud and 'fuck you Australia' etc...
