Have you tried PPSSPP emulator for piggy? It works on my Note 3, worth a shot!

How about feeding in stuff through a mega memory cart? Might be safer and you'd have sram to mess with.

New setup for new album:
Piggy for piggin' and also sending midi to mGB
BGB for straight LSDJ tracks
Controller has buttons mapped to use piggy and bgb at the same time

Here's a couple waveframes, also edited topic title and added info to first post.

Well well well!! Nicely and clearly done, thank you! Now I just gotta start coming up with some more interesting waveforms.

Probably but not necessarily related: The cart I've been using with this arduinoboy has become very unstable.  It rarely boots to either page (64M cart) even after multiple formats and writing different roms.  I've written multiple copies of mGB to each page which makes the boot menu come up and that seems to be working ok.  Don't have any confidence in it tho.  sad

Bending was the first thing I thought of whe Kitsch released those.  You'd have to give the GB something to actually boot up, of course.

Word.

Before you pull your hair out to much, I did notice on the arduinoboy page that "Current Source code available upon request. (Its a bit of a mess without comments. wink" so maybe we should see if we can get hold of trash80?

Interesting!

Thanks, jazz.  I've been googling around trying to find some specifics on mGB wav channel but no luck yet.

Thanks to nitro you can now easily add custom wav channel waveforms to mGB with your favorite hex editor!

Read the tutorial and download the freshly customized rom here: http://blog.gg8.se/wordpress/2014/06/30 … waveforms/

Here's a couple of waveframes to try out (just enter the digits from the top and bottom of the screen into any one of the rows 4000 thru 40FF in your hex editor)  -->

"First 32 digits of pi"

"Shitty Saw"

Is there a patcher that will allow me to add custom wav channel waveforms to mGB?

EDIT:  this sounds like a nice little project for nitro wink

Yeah it's the sav type that's the problem.  I think the only emulator that properly supports PR8 and NTRQ is Nestopia.  There's not a handheld emulator that is fully compatible that I know of.

Hell yeah, I'm super happy you're working on this!  Any time you need more bug testing or suggestions just let me know!
