Basically trying to put together a really durable DMG since mine keep breaking. I just wanted to start over and be able to have a really nice clear dream DMG
The US Don't worry about it, I already picked up a few! I forgot about this thread, my bad!

I'm doing this because of I agree with all the older posters I feel cool about myself
Are you kidding me KeFF? Please teach me pixel graff.
I'll do it for expensive enough, about $500

Coding like a sir.
Would you prefer he said drum machine programming? Or midi sequencer programming? Or keyboard programming? Edit: Or guitar
I just took it to mean that that track focused on the more technical side of manipulating the medium and pushing the hardware's limits. Maybe I'm not reading enough into this...
You're always criticising something, aren't you?
I do it for cheap enough, about $50.

I'm following low-gain's pro sound tutorial in which i'll install a separate 1/8" jack for line out and I want to make sure that I get this right. I don't cut any wires, I solder the new 1/8" jack to pre-left and right and ground solder points and cut out the speaker. By doing this I will have a pro sound mod in which the headphone jack works fine and the line out is always max volume for recording, right?
Bumping for some quick reassurance, the sooner I get some the sooner I can finish this mod.
Yes

I just had to. Don't kill me.
OMG taken out of context that is hilarious.
The feeling is excitement. If you're not excited by that kind of music, you're not going to be able to do it right. The only way to do it is to listen to music with drops, legitimately get into it, then try to recreate it with your own style countless times until you get it to a poit where it truly is a climax of excitement and you feel good when it comes.

OH MY GOD NO WAY
What bright primate said is absolutely right too...multi-band compression really does help. In all of my 1xlsdj tracks though, I actually use a really quiet kick (start volume of 20) for the timbre, and lower all the other instruments to like, 47 I guess ( really depend on the instrument too). I don't record channels separately, I just mix it right on the gameboy, so that especially when I ply live I don't have to run it through a daw with stuff on it to sound good.
Listen to some of this chipartist called "Frostbyte". He has some okay dubby stuff. I don't listen to it, but you might find it helpful.
hehe, nahhhhhhh
Okay yeah I have drops in my tracks, might be worth a listen
