Pause were very helpful and let me keep on selling outside their label. I'm not really sure what some of the smaller ones can offer that a Bandcamp/Facebook combo can't though, how often do you hear about these labels outside of TCTD and these kind of forums? I prefer the freedom of promoting in whatever way I want to and not being genre tagged to whatever the label is perceived to be.

One final thingy, but it's by me. Just released a new years demo written in the Reaper sequencer. The JS script language has some quite powerful stuff in (like FFT manipulation and proper gfx blending) so I guess it could be used for making VJ effects. You can attach parameters to sliders quite easily and send/receive midi through it.

Re: tracker with speach synthesizer (6 replies, posted in Commodore Computers)
There was another old one called 'Big Mouth' but I can't find it online. (basically sounds similar to SAM) Could be wrong about this but I think those old speech synths used the volume register to playback the sound. If your c64c machine has a new SID (8580) it'll probably sound quite muffled on there. In that case your best bet is to record it out of an emulator.
There were a couple of recent speech synths used in demos but they're in sourcecode form. Anyway, you can get them here and here They come with demo examples.
