Sadly not yet. I would really love one though, (especially with MIDI sync support!!!)

Sounds great! I plan on uprgrading the RAM anyways and the 7mhz upgrade. Love the look and form factor of this! Plus it has the music module built in! Going to try and pick this up soon! Thanks man!

What Boomlinde said is correct. Get a japanese MSX.
BRazilian MSXs are NTSC (Brazil uses both PAL-M and NTSC, also both 110V and 220V)Look, this is almost the one I have, it's a cool machine (one of my favourite-looking MSXes):

http://cgi.ebay.com/MSX-console-PANASON 45f0a1a083An MSX1 (I had this one too, it's cool):

Does that first one have the same specs as the one I mentioned? With shipping its still a little pricey, but hey nothings free!

Ouch! Yeah it was Bas' site. I'm not the biggest fan of its form factor but I'm a case modder so I could work around it. I'll check shipping...
Where did you get some of your other hardware as well? (i.e. USB disk drive and SCC flashcart)

I've never seen a IIGS in a WI thrift store! Lucky duck. I think I'll write up a list of vendors for IIGS hardware soon too.

Whoops! My bad, I was thinking of Soundsmith! Also an Apple IIGS Laptop that looks like it will eventually be for sale!
Probably prohibitively expensive though.

I found a site that would sell me a Philips NMS 8250 for about 50 euros. It has some minor mods that fix the sound output and have fastrom modification.(?) Would that be a good deal to get started with MSX music? I'm really only interested in PSG + SCC, however some FM could be nice but I have other FM solutions. I'm also excited for Franky support!

Arfink - Do you have the details on the MIDI implementation in Noisetracker? MIDI sync would open up a world of possibilities!

Woo! I just had lots of fun with the video thing. I took the rf from my atari 2600 and fed it into the program which has some interesting effects and I could produce some nice glitchy stuff! However as I don't have a hardrive or anything right now I cant save images... I do have a printer though... I played some games too and the graphics on some are really quite nice. Like the opening screen on Bubble Ghost! Also for another program I saw on youtube...

Looks interesting! I'm fairly excited to see where IIGS art can take us! I'll see if I have any other random floppies laying about!

Hmmmm I can check what progs I might have for this... Also we have to compare high scores in Crystal Quest! I'm curious if a video digitizer could be useful in this situation as well - I have one of those too.
