Re: how to write a chiptune song? (24 replies, posted in General Discussion)
write a melody that sounds cool, put some bass notes that compliment the melody, then put in some percussion. Then make your melody more dynamic with envelopes, and different effects so that it can breath in the mix. Do this for a few loops, listen to them countless times until you figure out how to piece the puzzle together. Voila you have a banger

Biere Gratuite wrote:snesei, did you saw the manual? Seams that only one type is working.
The current manual shows several carts that are tested with it and a couple of them are listed as working. He recommends the EZFlash1 as the easiest option, though.
I scooped the EZ Flash IV (new version not pictured), looks like backups are not supported on the clear cart. I'll let you know how it works once I get the SD HC version

Re: Using DAW Clock for multiple device sync ? (10 replies, posted in Nintendo Handhelds)
I've been thinking about a potential daw setup, I'm just conflicted a bit. Is there any way to have a Daw send a midi clock and then press start on lsdj and have it wait for the next bar to start up? Or would I still have to rely on beat matching for this?
