I bought the ART USBmix but can't get the configuration with my guitar right. Problem is that the interface seems to send the guitar (from guitarix or other..) back and creates a feedback loop.

I have the same issue.

I've had problems with that unit trying to record while using it to monitor at the same time. It seems to use the same data channel or something. For me, I record live instrumentation on top of tracks a lot so for that reason, I don't dig it. But it does work with linux right out of the box [I use Debian x64].

I use a Digidesign MBox Mini 2.

PS. The link to the product in the main post is broken

Yes I read that and that " The menu only supports ROMs whose size is a power of two." but I'm not sure I understand the practical implications of this. does it mean that if I have a 33Kb ROM I can't concatenate it? Also, what means "aligned" in this context?

Only supporting ROMS that are the size of a power of two enables the ability to calculate the end of the bits very easy and quick so it can copy the contents easier rather than having to search for the end of the bits. Info is stored in chunks of data on the hard drive that are all powers of 2 wide. Files start at a chunk start. If the file does not end right before the start of a new chunk, there is padding space between it and the new file.

Basically it can just be like hey this file is 2^4 units big. S = x = file_location. E = S + 2^4. Copy bits between S and E to some place.

Aligned means the bits are physically aligned to start at a power of two in the RAM. Basically, the way memory works it is easiest and most efficient to work with powers of two.

Hope I explained this okay, might be a little wrong but thats the general idea I believe.

My iPod Classics works well with Rhythmbox but I've heard that new generation iPods are not as simple to work with.
Thanks Apple for your beautiful walled gardens!

I have an iPod touch 3rd gen which should supposedly work but no series of methods I've tried have had success. Probably will end up just buying an mp3 player and large SD card

Did you install it with the deb package or did you build it yourself?
For a quick fix I think that

sudo apt-get install qtdeclarative5-window-plugin

should solve the issue.

It's strange that that package is not a dependency of the other packages I'm installing anyway.

This did the trick. And yes I used the deb package. Long story short, thanks for the support! Looking forward to using the tool! Now I just need to figure out how to mount my ipod in linux then I can finally get rid of that stupid win 10 partition.

After a working install, when launching ems-qart from the terminal I get the following:

QQmlApplicationEngine failed to load component
qrc:/qml/MainView.qml:8 Type ApplicationWindow unavailable
file:///usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/qml/QtQuick/Controls/ApplicationWindow.qml:41 module "QtQuick.Window" is not installed

Trying to install in linux cause this would be a freakin life saver to not have to use a win 10 partition. I use 64 Bit Elementary OS [based on Ubuntu] with intel.

When trying to run the line to install dependencies I get unable to locate package qml-module-qtquick2 qml-module-qtquick-controls qml-module-qtquick-dialogs.

Is there some sort of PPA I have to add for this? Also I do happen to have QT creator installed so would it be maybe possible to find what I need in there?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Almost forgot. Please keep an eye out later to see if casiopea announces any live dates in october. Best jazz fusion band of all time; since 1979. http://www.casiopea.co.jp/

One day I will own an MSX to be my designated gaming device for strictly this game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tPTdL2twd7E

If you are into buying Laserdiscs, I got a dude in Niigata who can hook you up right. xD

You know I got so pissed because I was at a flea market and that rick astley LP was for sale, but the buyer was not at his booth both times I passed it. Probably should have just took it, but I'm too nice of a guy I suppose.

A buddy of mine has a hardcase that fits 2 rackmount effects units but he has moved on from rackmount and is having trouble finding someone that needs it. You can probably get a good deal.  PM or post if you are interested.

Hey, I'm David Vandal, known to the chiptune community as dsv101.

Recently my girlfriend left me while I was in the middle of making her an album. It isn't chiptune, but I thought there still may be some interest here. It is like emo / indie rock / shoegaze. If a mod doesn't think it's appropriate to post a non-chip release here feel free to close this thread. Anyway here is the album.
