I can't believe it's been 2 months since my last update. So sorry!

It's been a crazy few months.
Communicating with 50+ artists, artwork, and audio engineering...
But FINALLY, we've got 50 artists/tracks on our full digital release.
All ready to drop.

I managed to fit 46 tracks into our physical release,
waiting to arrive and ship any day now!

8 Bit Power Hour/Piko Piko Detroit will be hosting a 2.5hr listening event
at www.8bitx.com tomorrow Mon, 8th from 7:30PM EST.

During this time, I'll be emailing out private releases to artists and backers.
Public release will happen once I confirm physical CD shipment!

I've also began planning for a 3 Day 8-Bit Festival
in Downtown Detroit for May 25-27 Memorial Day Weekend.

I'll make a new thread about that, but we're looking for artists,
VJs, DJs, and more to make it a big event.

Midwest Collective 2013 deadline in a few days! So far we have 23/52 tracks! If you haven't received a reply for your submission, please make sure you follow up. We are printing very soon. Listed artists will receive a physical copy. If you're outside of Michigan, send your address and we'll mail it for you!

The compilation album has been officially titled "Midwest Collective 2013"!

Design and tracks are still much under progress.
Please let me know if you know any midwest artists who would like to contribute art and/or music.

Title: 2013 Midwest Compilation Album (not confirmed, any good ideas?)
Art: ANSI, 8-bit, Pixel, Glitchy, etc. Doesn't have to be a map of midwest. Something cool that everyone would want!

I probably missed some people mentioning art skills, so please keep updating me!

Here's an update on the Midwest Compilation album!
- Compilation of Midwest State artists (and Canada due to our strong relationships with Windsor)
- New or newer music to represent the current movement of 8-bit inspired music in the region.
- Deadline to submit music will be announced when funding reaches 88%.
- Project will not be initiated if funding goal is not reached.

I just realized the shipping is over priced on each reward (some shipping is already included on backing price!).

So, I added another reward for international supporters:
$32 no extra shipping fee - Piko Loves World! - A Piko-Panda Shirt of your own size and color and some random swag for all international supporters! [Plus: 8-Bit Thank YOU!]

This way backers should get more the the buck, and it's very much worth our loss if we can get some fans around the world!
That's a shirt and extra stuff if we find we're making enough money to support all of our productions!
